District 10 Fire house State budget
Facing their first set of campaign questioners as a group, three of four District 10 city council hopefuls faced members of the Silicon Valley Manufacturing Group in an association candidate forum on Jan. 8.  More During a time when semi-historic buildings in Almaden Valley are being targeted for demolition to make way for housing and other developments, there are others that have passed the tests of time and progress and live on, if not in their original capacity, then at least in useful service in their new incarnations.  More San Jose Unified School District School Board President Gary Rummelhoff said Monday that although the new state budget proposed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger has yet to be approved, the final result may be good for San Jose public schools.  More
