Fee increase TJ Martin Park Community pride
It will cost youth sports leagues more to play on city fields, but, given how much other groups charge, league representatives say they are willing to accept the city's fee increase.  More Parents with children in the Almaden Valley Youth Soccer League want the city to quell an ongoing dispute between the league and neighbors of one of the parks where soccer players hold some of their games.  More Bill Santos, a key member of the Hoffman/Via Monte community who made sure other property owners in the community took pride in the neighborhood, died of a heart attack on Oct. 28. He was 66.  More
