Youth soccer teams hold tryouts

Almaden Stealth

The Almaden Stealth, a boys under-12 Class 3 soccer team, will hold tryouts (for players born after Aug. 1, 1996) on Jan. 26, 11 a.m.-1 p.m., and Feb. 2, 10 a.m.-noon, at Steinbeck Middle School. Almaden Venom

The Venom, a boys under-12 Class 1 Select team in the Almaden Valley Youth Soccer League, will hold tryouts (for players born between Aug 1, 1996, and July 31, 1997) on Jan. 26, 10 a.m.-noon, at Gunderson High School. For more information, e-mail sabra.underwood@sbcglobal.net.

Almaden Strikers

The Strikers, a boys under-13 Class 3 team in the Almaden Valley Youth Soccer League, will hold tryouts (for players born between Aug. 1, 1995, and July 31, 1996) on Jan. 26, 9-11 a.m., and Feb. 10, 2-4 p.m., at Steinbeck Middle School.
