    Police Blotter

    Slap in the Face--Dec. 23, 2:24 p.m. A Wilton Drive resident was arrested after his 19-year-old girlfriend reported that he slapped her.

    Serial Dialer--Dec. 23. A 33-year-old N. First Street resident reported receiving harassing phone calls since mid-December. Police advised the resident to call Pacific Bell to order a "phone trap" to trace the calls.

    Robbery--Dec. 23, 9 p.m. A man described as a Hispanic male in his 30s robbed a gas station on S. Winchester Boulevard, making off with an undisclosed amount. A witness described the man as 5 feet 9 inches, about 180 pounds, with black hair and wearing a gray jacket with blue sleeves and black jeans.

    Drive-thru Punch--Dec. 23, 11:40 p.m. Two 29-year-old Campbell residents reported that a man punched each of them as they sat in their vehicle at a drive-thru on W. Campbell Avenue. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, about 5 feet 10 inches, 210 pounds and blond.

    Electricity Theft--Dec. 24, 10:23 a.m. A 39-year-old Rosemary Lane resident was reported to be plugging an extension cord into his neighbor's garage.

    Another Bad Boyfriend--Dec. 24, 11:41 a.m. A 19-year-old Sam Cava Lane resident was booked into jail after his girlfriend reported that he'd pulled the telephone cord out of the wall so she couldn't call the police. Officers later located him at Campbell and Dillon avenues and arrested him on a no-bail warrant for causing a disturbance.

    Bed Knobs and...--Dec. 25, 10:45 p.m. A 29-year-old Campbell woman was taken to the hospital after a passenger in a dark-colored Chevrolet El Camino threw a broom at her, striking her in the chest. The woman and her husband were walking in the area of Union Avenue and Duncanville Court when the northbound heading vehicle approached them.

    Break-In--Dec. 26, 3:15 p.m. A 78-year-old Clover Avenue resident reported that someone entered the house and rummaged through drawers. Nothing was thought stolen at the time.

    House Call--Dec. 26, 9:05 p.m. A 47-year-old woman reported that a man was hiding in her bedroom when she came home that evening. The suspect told her he wanted to talk to her, so she ran to another room and called the police. The man grabbed the phone, pushed her and fled before police arrived.
