Police Blotter
Robbery--Dec. 26, 7:32 p.m. Police are looking for a man who robbed a gas station attendant at gunpoint on W. Hamilton Avenue. He was described as a Hispanic male, aged 25-30, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 210 pounds, wearing a tan jacket, gray knit cap, jeans and a polo shirt.
Warranted Arrest--Dec. 28, 3:40 a.m. An 18-year-old man was arrested near Weston Drive and Bucknall Road after the driver of a car he was in was pulled over because of suspicious behavior. The man was found to have a warrant for petty theft, and the driver was cited for driving with a suspended license.
Drive-Thru Drunk--Dec. 28, 3:58 a.m. A 23-year-old Campbell man was arrested for driving under the influence after an officer saw him spinning his tires in a drive-thru. The officer followed the man to Christopher Avenue, at which point the suspect tried to turn and ended up crashing into the front yard of a residence.
Minor Injury Accident--Dec. 30, 8:42 p.m. A woman lost control of her car on Camden Avenue and hit a signal pole. She then drove across the street, where her car got stuck in the muddy grass in front of a restaurant.
Quagmire--Dec. 31, 2:17 a.m. A 35-year-old San Jose man was booked into jail for driving under the influence after an officer spotted him spinning his tires in the grass on Redding Road, attempting to dislodge his tires from the earth.
Money Woes--Jan. 3, 11:15 p.m. A 43-year-old man was booked into jail for battery and being drunk in public after he hit a 33-year-old fellow resident after they had an argument about money. The suspect left the residence and went to a bar on Winchester Boulevard, where police found him and placed him under arrest.
Mail Theft--Jan 4. A 46-year-old Dry Creek Road resident reported that someone had stolen her mail while she was on vacation. She realized a theft had occurred when she received a call from her bank informing her that her credit card had been used at several locations.
Not Too Sharp--Jan 4, 4:25 p.m. A 33-year-old San Jose resident was cited after he concealed chain saw blades in his pants pockets and was caught outside of the business without having paid for the items.
Fed Up--Jan 4. A 17-year-old boy was taken to Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall after his parents reported that he had broken into their room and stolen some money. The parents informed police that their son is no longer welcome in their home.
