    Police Blotter

    Unwelcome Visitor--Jan. 5, 11:17 p.m. A transient was arrested after he caused a disturbance at a friend's apartment on W. Rincon Avenue. The suspect, who was intoxicated at the time, had a $500 warrant for a misdemeanor.

    One Too Many--Jan. 6, 8:45 a.m. A 29-year-old San Jose man was arrested after he was involved in a disturbance at a bar on Bascom Avenue. The suspect was also wanted for a parole violation.

    Teed Off--Jan. 6, 10:30 a.m. An unknown suspect broke into a Honda Civic in a garage on Union Avenue and stole two golf clubs and a black briefcase that contained passports and a Social Security card.

    Hide and Seek--Jan. 7, 1 a.m. A 37-year-old San Jose man was arrested after hiding in his girlfriend's closet. The suspect was wanted on three no-bail warrants.

    Hot Head--Jan. 7, 1 p.m., 6:30 a.m. An unknown suspect broke into a plumbing and heating store on Dell Avenue and stole a compressor and accessories.

    Robbery--Jan. 8, 10:03 a.m. An unknown suspect pried open the driver's side of a Nissan truck on South Bascom Avenue and stole a stereo and other personal items.

    No Gentleman--Jan. 9, 2:23 a.m. A 35-year-old San Jose male and a 39-year-old San Jose female got into an argument on South Bascom Avenue. A whispering 911 call was made from a pay phone. When officers arrived, the woman claimed the man had slapped and pushed her into the bushes.

    Undeliverable--Jan. 9, 4:30 p.m. An unknown suspect stole the mail out of a woman's mailbox on Union Avenue. The mailbox contained credit card checks and cash.

    Washed Up--Jan. 10, 7:02 p.m. A woman had her car washed on Hamilton Avenue. She later discovered her camera was missing.

    Incredible Hulk--Jan. 11, 12-2:45 a.m. An unknown suspect on Campisi Way kicked over a Suzuki, causing damage.

    Sound Sleeper--Jan. 11, 4 a.m. An unknown suspect smashed a car window and stole CDs out of a car on Morrene Drive. The car alarm went off but the victim didn't check the car until the next morning.

    Forgot the Kid--Jan. 13, 5 p.m. A 35-year-old male left his 1-year-old son in the car unattended on Hamilton Avenue and was cited.
