    Police Blotter

    Out of Control--Jan. 11, 11:11 p.m. A man drove up onto the sidewalk in front of Morgan Park on Budd Avenue. His car hit a light pole and then started spinning around. The driver was ejected out of the car, breaking his neck and cutting his scalp. He is expected to make a full recovery, although his car was almost cut in half. The case was sent to the district attorney.

    Cat Fight--Jan. 12, 10:25 p.m. A woman picked her daughter up from her ex-husband's house. When she arrived, her ex's new girlfriend answered the door. The two started arguing, and the woman assaulted the girlfriend. The woman left the house before police arrived. The case was sent to the district attorney.

    Smashmouth--Jan. 12, 11 p.m. A Campbell man was at a bar on Bascom. He left for his friend's truck very drunk. While he was at the car, he was attacked by an unknown suspect. The suspect cut the man's mouth and broke some of his teeth.

    Hey Jealousy--Jan. 13, 9:02 p.m. A married couple went to a bar. The husband became upset when he saw his wife dancing with one of their friends. He grabbed his wife's arm and pulled her out of the bar, causing her to run into a stucco wall on their way out. The case was sent to the district attorney.

    Marital Relations--Jan. 15, 5:59 p.m. A husband and wife who have been married for a little over a year still live together but are planning to get a divorce soon. The two started arguing about their relationship and their financial situation. The wife hit her husband in the mouth and hit him with a small metal stool. The suspect was booked.

    Car Fight--Jan. 17, 9:23 p.m. A couple got into an argument while they were driving and continued even after they parked in their complex lot. The man slapped his girlfriend and she slapped back. They got out of the car and he pushed her onto the pavement. The officer arriving at the scene talked to both. No action was taken.
