    Bobby Sox Sign-ups

    The Campbell Bobby Sox League, a softball league for girls ages 5-16, will hold sign-ups Jan. 31, 7-9 p.m., and Feb. 2, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., at Forest Hill Elementary School, 4450 McCoy Ave. in San Jose.

    Players must provide a birth certificate, medical and emergency information, and the registration fee.

    The softball season runs from late February through June.

    Campbell Little League Sign-ups

    The Campbell Little Leagues are currently holding registration for the upcoming baseball season. Players ages 5-12 are eligible, with divisions ranging from T-ball (for those youngsters who reach age 5 by July 31) to the major division (for those players not older than 12).

    Sign-ups will be held Jan. 31, 7:30-8:30 p.m., at the Holman Field Clubhouse, located at Rosemary School off Hamilton Avenue on Millich Drive (between San Tomas Expressway and Winchester). The registration fees are $40.

    Opening day is currently scheduled for March 30.

    Campbell Volleyball

    The city of Campbell offers drop-in volleyball programs for teen-agers and adults in the auxiliary gym at 1 W. Campbell Ave.

    Drop-in volleyball is offered for teens ages 13-18 on Wednesdays, 7-9 p.m., and for adults on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

    The cost is $3 for teens and $4 for adults. For more information, call 408.866.2107.

    Team needs players

    The King's Head Marauders, a social rugby club based in Campbell, are looking for players for the coming season. Team members come from all over the greater San Jose area and are of all ages and experience levels.

    Club members practice each Sunday at John D. Morgan Park and meet each Wednesday evening at the King's Head, both in Campbell.
