    AARP hosts meeting at Adult Center

    The Campbell chapter of AARP will hold a meeting on Feb. 20, at 9:45 a.m. for socializing in Room 80 of the Campbell Adult Center. Erica Jones from California Medical Review Inc., will present a program on helping seniors better understand and use their Medicare rights and benefits. The program will begin at 10:15 and is open to the public. For more information, call Ann at 408.378.6996. The Campbell chapter of AARP meets the third Tuesday of each month.

    Blood drive is Feb. 28 at Westmont High

    Westmont High School will be holding a blood drive on Feb. 28, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the large gym of the high school. Anyone wishing to donate blood must be in good health, age 17 or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, bring a form of identification, eat a healthy meal before donating, and drink plenty of fluids before and after giving blood. All blood will be donated to the Blood Bank of the Pacific, which supplies blood to Bay Area hospitals. Donors should sign up before Feb. 26.
