    Police Blotter

    Lads on the Loose --March 5, 1:19 p.m. An 18-year-old with a no-bail warrant for trespassing was booked for theft and resisting arrest. Two other boys, ages 14 and 15, were booked for theft and cited to their parents.

    Economic Indicators--March 4, 11:45 a.m. A 20-year-old and a 27-year-old were arguing about financial issues. The man threatened to slash the woman's tires.

    Inferior Decorator--March 3, 4 p.m. A Santa Cruz woman stole some doorknobs from a large hardware store in Campbell.

    Transportation Issues--March 2, 3:35 p.m. A 39-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman, both of San Jose, got into an argument because the woman wanted to walk home. The man, however, didn't want to let her out of the car, and struck her in the head and face. He was later booked.

    Acting Wheel Dumb--March 1, 9:05 p.m. Police received complaints of people racing on Cristich Lane. They found a 37-year-old man, of San Jose, spinning his tires and racing on the street. He was cited.

    Behind the Times--A woman reported that a man grabbed her buttocks at the library. The man is described as an African American male between the ages of 28 to 30 years old, 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5, weighing 100-120 pounds. He had pink marks on his face, and was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants.

    Stepping On It--March 1, 8:47 a.m. A man was booked after failing to pay for his taxi fare. During the booking process, an officer found approximately four grams of amphetamine in the suspect's shoe.

    Stairway to Jail--March 1, 3 a.m. A 40-year-old man was seen tying ladders onto his truck. Some employees from a large hardware store identified the property, still in its plastic wrap, as belonging to their store. The suspect was under the influence and was booked promptly.

    Daddy Dearest--March 4, 7:55 p.m. A man called the mother of his child and threatened to kill her if she didn't let allow him to see the child more often. The man and woman are no longer together.

    Puddle Jumper--March 4, 12:15 p.m. A San Jose woman hit a puddle and fell off her bike at the Campbell par course. The woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to Kaiser Hospital.
