Matt Witter has confronted more challenges in his 18 years than most adults will face in their lifetime, so he's approaching his most recent obstacle--raising $4,000 by May 1 for a once-in-a-lifetime trip--the only way he knows how--with tenacity. Witter was diagnosed with a brain tumor at age 2. An operation successfully removed the tumor but caused a stroke, leaving Witter with limited use of his right leg, no use of his right arm and hand and no peripheral vision in his right eye. But for the next 16 years, Witter would set out to prove he was just another boy--one who happened to have a physical disability.
