"Strangely, there's a celestial-type of theme running through it all," muses Greg de Vries, of his career as a chief executive officer in Campbell. It began with DeVries Data Systems in 1985, did the dotcom thing with Full Moon Interactive in 1999, until recently, and just birthed newborn (sort of) Horizon 3 Inc., on April 9, 2001. Described by colleagues as a "perpetual pioneer" de Vries' latest business incarnation still has him reaching for the stars--only this time through the development of wireless and mobile applications, instead of merely moving data to the desktop.
