Police Blotter
Vandalism--April 28. An unknown suspect broke the window of a car parked in a building complex on Dunster Drive. The thief stole a stereo faceplate, CDs and a black leather organizer containing papers. The incident occurred between April 25 and April 26.
Sex Offender--April 28, 10:38 p.m. A 29-year-old male was located and arrested by authorities at Laura Drive on a $200,000 warrant for failing to register as a sex offender.
Assault--April 28, 9:40 p.m. A 22-year-old male was found bloody and unconscious on a W. Hamilton Avenue sidewalk. He had head injuries and was taken to Valley Medical Center. The man later told hospital workers he only remembered walking from his home to a store at Winchester and Williams avenues when he was allegedly attacked by two Hispanic men.
Runaway--April 28, 2 p.m. A 16-year-old juvenile on Herbert Lane packed her belongings in a backpack and left a note for her parents. The note said she was leaving until things cooled down at home.
Child Abuse--April 27, 9:05 p.m. A 25-year-old male got into an argument with his 29-year-old wife on Ravenscourt Avenue. He threw a lamp on the ground and hit his 4-year-old son on the head. The man's son required stitches to close his head wound, and the man was arrested and booked.
Auto Burglary--April 26, 6:45-7:40 p.m. An unknown suspect on S. Bascom Avenue broke the window of a car and stole a black backpack, a portfolio/briefcase containing personal papers and additional personal property.
Hit and Run--April 26, 5:25 a.m. An unknown suspect driving a red car on Ravenscourt Avenue ran into a parked car, which caused three more collisions. The suspect fled, heading northbound on Ravenscourt Avenue, and was last seen possibly heading northbound on Empey Way.
Impersonation--April 26, 2:30 p.m. A 20-year-old man from Nevada was cited for trying to sell cleaning products on W. Campbell Avenue, while claiming he was a representative from the city of Campbell.
Attempted Burglary--April 25, 10:40 p.m. An unknown suspect entered a home on Elam Avenue through an unlocked bathroom window. When made aware that the resident was at home, the suspect ran into the bathroom, slammed the door and fled back out the bathroom window.
