Hats off to Moryt Milo
I was pleased to read Moryt Milo's article on the Opinion page of the May 26 issue of the Campbell Reporter. I enjoyed the way she blended her fond memories of her grandfather with the current hat exhibit at the Ainsley House.
It appears that the tour of the Ainsley House and the exhibit was meaningful for her and triggered some positive feelings and remembrances. This is one of the goals of the exhibits.
We appreciate the mention in the paper. As you know we do not have the resources for advertising and depend on PSA and information such as these news articles to get the word out to the public that there is something of value for them.
Thank you again for your article.

New school music programs all deserve recognition
I recently attended the 1999 Pops Concert and Awards Banquet at Willow Glen High School and just had to write and express my delight at the progress that has been made with the program.
The program is now 18 months young and the progress that has been made to date is very noticeable and deserving of comment.
Ms. Kathryn Donovan, the Director of both the choirs and bands must be congratulated on a fantastic effort of brining music back into the curriculum. The quality of the performances is steadily improving and the enjoyment of the students who are participating is becoming more and more obvious.
This most recent performance included efforts by the combined bands, middle-school choir, high school choir, a special "Nothing but Treble" ensemble of the high school choir and the combined choirs. The combination of the middle and high school groups to represent the overall educational park and potential for cooperation was especially noteworthy.
I understand that there may now be an additional resource added to the music department to enhance the instrumental offerings of the curriculum. I think this is a great development..
I certainly encourage anyone in the community to find out what is going on. With what seems at times like a lot of bad things happening in the schools, there are actually many more good things happening, many of which we can all be part, even if just as spectators.
