Murdick Trucking wins TOC berth
RSJ Machining advances to minor division TOC

RBI may have won the regular season championship in the Campbell Little League major division, but it's Murdick Trucking going on to the District 44 Tournament of Champions this week.
The Truckers earned the TOC berth by winning the title in league tournament that finished up last weekend when Murdick edged RBI 5-3 in the league championship game.
Murdick was to open the District 44 tournament on Monday against the Giants of the Sunnyvale Serra Little League. The winner will face Santa Clara Westside on June 21, 5:30 p.m., at the Tri-Cities Little League field.
The TOC semifinals are set for June 25, 5 p.m., at the Sunnyvale National Little League field with the championship game on June 27, 5:30 p.m., at Sunnyvale Serra.
Murdick went truckin' into the Campbell championship game thanks to a 9-1 win over Robins. The pitching of Jimmy Cramer, Sterling Petersen and Nick Lind sparked Murdick to the victory.
RBI, regular season champions in the major division, beat Murdick 5-2 earlier in the tournament, but lost 6-5 to the Truckers a game later. RBI pulled out a 7-4 win over EPS to move into the finals, but lost again to Murdick.
RSJ Machining will join Murdick Trucking on the trip to the district Tournament of Champions. RSJ won the Campbell Little League's minor division championship, and will open the District 44 TOC on June 21, 5:30 p.m., against the winner of the Moreland-Santa Clara Briarwood El Camino game at the Tri-Cities field. That winner will move on to the semifinals on June 25, 5:30 p.m., at Campbell.
The minor division TOC championship game is slated for June 27, 5:30 p.m., at the Sunnyvale Serra field.
Woodworks won the minor division title in the regular season, but lost out the RSJ in the league tournament.
The Campbell Little League farm division tournament opened last week with Adam's Apple beating TJM 10-4 and the Firefighters 6-5, Mortenson Precision taking Winchester Auto 11-4 and TJM 18-5, the Campbell Police topping JE Masonry 4-2 and Mortenson 6-1 and JE Masonry edging Winchester Auto 6-5.
The Firefighters were 11-0 in the regular season.
