    Police Blotter

    Bad Behavior--July 9, 5:30 p.m. A 46-year-old man got more than he bargained for after hitting a vehicle in front of him. The suspect left the scene, but a Campbell police officer was able to reach him by telephone immediately. The suspect drove to the Campbell police department intoxicated, and it was discovered he had an outstanding warrant for $6,000.

    Flower Power--July 11, 4: 24 p.m. A 35-year-old woman was sent to Valley Medical Center after being hit several times in the head with a flower pot by a 43-year-old man. The victim and witness denied any involvement, according to the police report. Upon arrival, police found the suspect "very intoxicated and belligerent." The case was sent to the district attorney's office.

    Not His Day--July 9, 3 p.m. A 25-year-old Santa Cruz man who was stopped by police was found to have a felony warrant. The man was also driving on a suspended license and cited for possession of marijuana. The suspect was booked into jail.

    Kicking and Screaming--July 8, 11 p.m. A 38-year-old man and his 32-year-old girlfriend were involved in a verbal dispute. The girlfriend reportedly "kicked, scratched, and punched" her boyfriend. The case was sent to the district attorney.

    Caught In the Act--July 8, 8 p.m. A 42-year-old woman hit a parked vehicle with her truck, then drove home on Winston Way. A witness saw the woman and was able to record a vehicle license number. The suspect was contacted at home and admitted her crime.

    Giving It Up--July 8, 5 p.m. A 30-year-old man from San Jose who was contacted by a Campbell police officer over the phone surrendered himself to the CPD. He was found to have an outstanding $10,000 felony theft warrant.
