    Privacy, Please--July 15, 11:05 p.m. A woman was asleep in her bed with her husband. She was awakened by a man fondling her. She screamed and the suspect fled out the front door. Police speculate that he may have entered through an unlocked front door.

    Giddyap--July 15, 2:03 a.m. A young man was inside a bar on Winchester and Sunnyside. He slapped a female on the leg. Her brother got upset and he and other patrons chased the suspect out into the street where police were driving by. The suspect was intoxicated.

    How Rude!--July 16, 3:00 p.m. A woman left work to go to lunch and was approached by a woman who demanded to be given the victim's purse. When the victim refused, the suspect began to punch her. The victim resisted, and the suspect was joined by another woman, who also attacked the victim. The suspects eventually got the victim's purse and entered their vehicle to flee. The victim jumped in the passenger's lap and was pushed from the car. She received minor scrapes .

    Gotcha--July 18, 11:30 a.m. Police tracked down the suspect in the purse snatching case by asking the car dealer whom he had sold a car matching the suspect's car's description to recently. An officer went to the jail to find one of the suspect's picture, and while he was leaving, she walked in. He followed her, and when she was picked up by the other suspect, he detained them. They were subsequently picked up and booked.

    Mobile phones--July 18, 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Two cellular telephones were stolen from an unlocked office.

    Bye Bye--July 18, 5:30 p.m. A 15-year-old boy got into an argument with his mother and left home. Previously, he had run away from home but returned after a few hours. However, this time, he did not return home.

    Tastes Great, Less Filling--July 19, 11:45 p.m. Several females became engaged in a verbal argument in a parking lot on Bascom Ave. One of the females struck another in the head with a bottle. The victim called the police and received medical attention for the lacerations, but said that she did not want to press charges.

    Pill heist--July 14 to 15, unknown time, A suspect entered a business on Bascom Ave. without using force or setting off the alarm. About 120 Ritalin pills and some cash were found missing.
