    Police Blotter

    Watch It Now--July 20, 12 p.m. Campbell police officers say a San Jose man stole a watch belonging to a former fellow employee of a business on E. Hamilton Avenue. The suspect had stopped by the business to pick up a check and was wanted for a parole violation but fled before police arrived on the scene.

    Dueling Dudes--July 20, 11:55 p.m. A 28-year-old San Jose man was booked after Campbell Police officers noticed him challenging a Bascom Avenue bar patron to a fight during a routine bar check. The suspect was determined to be too intoxicated to care for himself.

    Face Off--July 21, 12:40 a.m. A 30-year-old Railway Avenue resident was booked into jail for spousal abuse after he punched his wife in the face during an argument about child care. The victim attempted to call the police, but before she could speak with the dispatcher, the suspect took the phone away and hit her again. When police arrived at the apartment, the victim was trying to leave, and the suspect would not allow her to.

    Workplace Accident--July 21, 9:35 a.m. A 45-year-old man suffered a broken hand, wrist and forearm after getting his hand caught in a conveyer belt at his place of employment on McGlincey Lane. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was notified.

    Drive-Thru Drunk--July 22, 2:35 a.m. A 20-year-old Campbell woman was found passed out behind the wheel of her car at a drive-thru on Camden Avenue. Campbell police booked her for driving under the influence of alcohol.

    Light My Fire--July 22, 1:37 p.m. A Santa Clara man reported that a San Jose man threw a lit cigarette at him during a verbal argument in a bar on S. Bascom Avenue. The cigarette reportedly caused a minor burn, and the case was sent to the district attorney's office.

    Cat Woman--July 23, 12:49 a.m. A 31-year-old woman was booked for abuse after she threw several items at her boyfriend and scratched his arm, causing visible injuries.

    Stolen Car--July 23, 1 p.m. A Campbell man left his Toyota Camry in a parking lot on W. Hamilton Avenue and walked home because he was too drunk to drive. When he returned to pick up the vehicle, it was missing.
