    Police Blotter

    Lost and Found--Aug. 5, 6 p.m. A 19-year-old man was reported missing by his aunt. The young man, however, returned at 10 p.m.

    Pop Goes the Weasel--Aug. 5, 4:15 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was sent to the hospital after allegedly filling a 16-year-old boy's car with Styrofoam popcorn while it was parked in the Campbell Plaza shopping center. The 16-year-old was so upset when he discovered the prank he confronted the practical joker and beat him up.

    Facing the Music--Aug. 5, 8 a.m. A 42-year-old woman turned herself into Campbell police authorities for a $20,000 outstanding DUI warrant. She was subsequently booked into jail.

    Bad Will--Aug. 4-5, time unspecified. Unknown suspects broke into the Goodwill store at 60 S. San Tomás Aquino Road, and stole cash and rifle ammunition.

    Crank Call--Aug. 4, 2:07 p.m. A 33-year-old woman was arrested for disturbing the peace after insisting that her boyfriend was going to kill her. The suspect was reportedly under the influence of methamphetamine.

    Hammering It Out--Aug. 7, 7:15 p.m. Police answered a call at a residence on East Campbell Avenue. A 45-year-old man had brandished a hammer at the victim, a 35-year-old woman. The police report noted the incident was part of an "ongoing feud."

    Suicide Watch--Aug. 7, 1:25 p.m. A 57-year-old man was taken to Emergency Protective Services after he called Campbell police and said he wanted to kill himself with a shotgun. Three rifles were also confiscated from the suspect's home.

    Wandering Briefs--Aug. 7, 11:25 a.m. Police responded to a report of a man walking around in his underwear. Police located the 49-year-old man on West Rincon Avenue. The suspect reportedly had not been taking his medications.
