    Police Blotter

    Bill Me--Aug. 23, 1 p.m. A woman who works at a business on Dell Ave. attempted to use a customers credit card number to forward herself $500 from Western Union. The victim was contacted by Western Union and denied the charges. When police contacted the suspect at the Dell Ave. business, she admitted to the attempted theft. The case was referred to the DA.

    Heat Wave--Aug. 23, 2:26 p.m. The field at the South side of the intersection of Elam and Inwood caught fire, including a Eucalyptus tree. It began spreading south towards the houses on Westmont but was stopped in the back yards. There were no injuries and no structures were damaged.

    Work Space--Aug. 22, 9:15 p.m. Two co-workers had an argument about work space. The suspect pushed the victim to the ground. The victim said he hit his head, and complained of pain. The case was referred to the DA.

    Bail out--Aug. 22, 10:58 p.m. The victim, a cab driver for Yellow Cab, picked up two suspects in San Jose. The suspects asked to be taken to a fair in Campbell. Once they reached Campbell, they instructed the driver to pull into a Shell station on Salmar so they could get change. As soon as they exited the cab, the suspects ran off. They climbed over a fence near a Staples store. The victim pursued the suspects. As he started to climb the fence after them, one of the suspects pulled out a utility razor knife and threatened to cut the victim if he climbed over the fence. The suspects then fled. They were located in front of the Garrett. One suspect hid in the women's bathroom while police contacted the other suspect. Police then found the other suspect and both were identified. They were booked.

    Punch--Aug. 20, 10:15 a.m. A man was living with his son and his fiancée. When the son was taken into custody, the father and the fiancée had an argument about the father continuing to live there. The father threatened to slit the woman's throat. She left the house and he followed her outside. He punched her in the head. He was booked.

    Push--Aug. 18, 1:03 p.m. During an argument, a man grabbed a woman by the mouth and slammed her against a wall. The man was arrested and booked.
