    Police Blotter

    Much Ado About Money--Aug. 23, 4:30 p.m. A man and his girlfriend got into an argument over money. The argument turned physical when the man pushed the woman and she injured her hand. An emergency protective restraining order was issued at the request of the woman. The case was referred to the DA.

    Busted--Aug. 24, 11:33 p.m. A San Jose man was stopped for a traffic violation at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Darryl Street. He was determined to be under the influence and had a no bail warrant for a traffic violation. He was booked for the DUI and the warrant.

    Theft--Aug. 25-28 An unknown suspect entered a business on Dillon Street without using force and stole two computers. The serial numbers were entered into police computers. Possible suspects are the janitorial service. A report was filed.

    Helping out--Aug. 26, 3:07 p.m. A man went to assist a woman forcefully evict a roommate from her home on Timber Cove Street. A friend had told him that she was having problems with her roommates, and he thought the male roommate was abusing her. He brought over a gun and a bat to assist with the eviction. He displayed the bat in a threatening manner and kept the gun on him the entire time he was in the residence. He was arrested and booked.

    Pushing--Aug. 29, 12:40 p.m. A woman going through divorce proceedings went to the house where her husband lives. She wanted to photocopy documents for the upcoming divorce. While she was there, her husband came home for lunch. An argument ensued and both stated they had been pushed by the other. Neither party had visible injuries. The case was referred to the DA.

    Passed out--Aug. 30, 4 p.m. A man and his girlfriend got into an argument. The man pushed her out of his apartment and she fell and hit her head. She claimed that she passed out. She went to the doctor but did not have a medical report with her when she contacted police. There were no visible signs of injury. The case was referred to the DA.
