    Neilynne Branagan

    Campbell resident Neilynne Hartley Branagan died Sept. 2 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Gatos from an aneurysm. Branagan was born Feb. 11, 1947, in Jacksonville, Fla. She was 54.

    She studied with the San Jose Ballet School and loved James Brown and the beach.

    In the last five years she quit smoking and began a vigorous workout routine. Friends and family say her inspiration and positive attitude will be greatly missed.

    Branagan is survived by her two sons, David and Michael Branagan, of San Jose; sister Gloria Miller, of San Jose; brother Bill Hartley; and family in Phoenix, Ariz., and San Jose.

    A celebration of life service was held Sept. 7 and her ashes are being spread in the ocean in Santa Cruz Sept. 15. For more information, call David Branagan at 408.269.1629.

    Lois Martin

    Lois Martin died Aug. 22 in Los Gatos at the age of 70. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Warren Martin of Campbell; her children Sandra and Robert Finn of Honeoye Falls, N.Y.; Cynthia Martin of Mountain View; Anne Martin-Bauer and Robert Bauer of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; and Carole Martin-Thomas and Michael Thomas of San Jose; and two grandchildren and six siblings.

    Martin was a native of Etna, Maine. She will be missed by all who knew her. Private services were held for the family under the direction of Darling & Fischer Campbell Memorial Chapel. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society
