Police Blotter
Outstanding Behavior--Oct. 7, 12:38 a.m. Persuaded by his attorney, a 54-year-old Campbell resident surrendered himself to police at the Campbell police station. The man had a $5,000 outstanding warrant.
Dumb and Dumber--Oct. 6, 10:07 p.m. A 35-year-old Campbell man was arrested while staggering down the street and holding an open beer. Turns out he had a $3,000 outstanding warrant.
Influential Behavior--Oct. 4, 12:09 a.m. A 30-year-old San Jose man was stopped for a vehicle code violation. During a search of his car, police found a syringe. The suspect was reportedly also under the influence of methamphetamine.
Joy Ride--Oct. 4. A 1990 Suzuki motorcycle was taken from a business on Sunnyoaks Avenue. It was apparently pushed down the street, hot-wired and ultimately abandoned.
Housebreaker--Oct. 4. A Hamilton Avenue residence was broken into via an open bedroom window. The residence was ransacked, and it appeared the suspect exited through the rear sliding glass door. It was unknown how much was taken.
Cell Phone Story #2002--Oct. 2, 9:30-9:40 a.m. A man's cellular phone was taken from his vehicle, which was parked on McGlincey Lane. The man had left the phone in his car, with the convertible top down, while he went inside a business.
