Police Blotter
City Chase--Sept. 20, 2:30 p.m. A 23-year-old woman told police she'd gotten into an argument with a 23-year-old man who crashed into her car during a chase around the west side of Campbell.
Strange Threat--Sept. 21. A Railway Avenue resident reported that her estranged husband choked her and threatened to throw her off a balcony.
Pointy Projectiles--Sept. 23, 11:15 p.m. An unknown suspect shot three arrows into a residence on Hazel Avenue.
Stick 'Em Up--Sept. 24, 4 p.m. A victim reported that, while he was at a gas station on Hacienda Avenue and Winchester Boulevard, he was approached from behind by a man with long, blond, nappy hair and several items of clothing wrapped around his waist. The suspect stuck an object in the man's back and told him he had a gun. The suspect hit the man in the back of the head and fled with some of the victim's cash.
Illegal Partying--Sept. 25, 9 a.m. Several unknown suspects entered a business on Campbell Avenue through a rear window and had a party, according to police. Beer cans and other party debris were found inside the business and one item, a sweatshirt, was reported missing.
Bomb Threat--Sept. 26, 12:41 p.m. A male adult called a cashier at a gas station on E. Hamilton Avenue and said there was a bomb in the bathroom. The area was searched and no bomb was found.
And Another--Sept. 26, 12:36 p.m. An unknown suspect called a receptionist at a business on Hamilton Avenue and claimed to be a member of the Afghan government. The suspect said there was a bomb in the business, and the building was vacated as police searched for suspicious people. Nothing was located.
Young Crime--Sept. 27. A 14-year-old was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall after he threw rocks at two victims at a school on Chapman Drive. The suspect allegedly lifted a girl up and threw her to the ground.
Vandalism--Sept. 28, 6:45 a.m. An unknown suspect cut the awning of a business on Camden Avenue and put it in a dumpster.
Broken Glass--Sept. 28, 6:56 p.m. Two juveniles, ages 15 and 16, were booked into juvenile hall after they pulled a board off a window in the Pruneyard Shopping Center, climbed a rope to the second floor and broke approximately 20 windows on the roof level, including two large front windows.
