Marie Stevens, president of the Bay Area Siberian Husky (BASH) Club, practices bandaging her stuffed dog's ear during a pet first aid class held by the club at the Cloverdale Cabana Club in Campbell. The class, sponsored by the San Jose Chapter of the American Red Cross, helped members learn how to administer CPR, apply bandaging and treat other injuries for dogs and cats in need of immediate medical assistance. BASH is a non-profit organization, based in the Bay Area, that was started in 1980. Members come from as far as the Lake Tahoe area.
