    Police Blotter

    Escalation--Oct. 14, 4:49 a.m. A man and a woman who live together returned home after an evening out. They got into an argument, which escalated to the point where the man pinned the woman to the ground, causing bruises and scratches. The woman got away and banged on her neighbor's door. They let her in and then called 911. An emergency protective restraining order was issued and the man was booked.

    Hit and Run--Oct. 14, 10:29 p.m. Police arrived at a bar where six subjects had been fighting. Police attempted to stop three of the subjects, who were fleeing the scene. One subject ran away from the officers. Police instructed the other two men to stay where they were while police caught the third man. Police found the man hiding in some bushes behind a store. Meanwhile, the other two men had fled. Police located them hiding in a yard. The men were booked.

    Argument--Oct. 14, 7:58 p.m. While a man and woman were arguing, the woman questioned his manhood. The man grabbed the woman and tried to throw her out of the apartment. When police arrived, there were no visible injuries. The woman did not desire prosecution or an emergency protective restraining order. The case was referred to the DA for review.

    Phone Foe--Oct. 18, 8:30 p.m. A man threatened to kill a woman if she gets any more phone calls. He has beaten her in the past but it has gone unreported. When police searched the man, they found a gravity knife in his possession. An emergency protective restraining order was issued. He was booked.

    Strange Encounter--Oct. 18, 7 a.m. A man entered a woman's apartment by prying the rear glass sliding door. He was not invited. Once he had entered the apartment, he then disabled the phone lines in the apartment. When the woman awoke, the man was standing over her bed, and he told her he wanted to have sex. She refused. When she left to take her children to school, he accompanied her. They drove around before returning to the apartment. The man reconnected the phone lines and then left the apartment. He was acting bizarrely. A report was taken.
