    Police Blotter

    Drinking-- Oct. 26, 3:10 p.m. A suspect was chased away from a Campbell Avenue laundromat for drinking in public. Police located the man behind a nearby restaurant, preparing his pipe to smoke some marijuana. He was cited.

    Under the Counter--Oct. 26, 7:28 p.m. A man forged a prescription and dropped it off at Walgreens. He returned to the drive-up window to pick up his medication. When the pharmacist got on the phone to call police, the man fled. Police were unable to contact the man at his home. Police are in the process of constructing a photo lineup.

    Jean Valjean--Oct. 28, 7-9 a.m. A homeless man and woman stole a stereo from a woman's Alpha Court apartment. The woman had allowed the couple to live in her apartment for two weeks. A report was taken.

    Dirty Dish Dispute--Oct. 29, 7:55 p.m. Two co-workers in a Bascom Avenue restaurant got into an argument over who was going to wash dishes. They went to the rear of the business where they began a fist fight. The suspect pulled out a knife and made stabbing motions at the victim. The victim grabbed the blade of the knife, cutting his hand. The suspect fled the scene. The victim went to Valley Medical Center Emergency Room for treatment. The suspect is still at large.

    Drinking and Riding--Oct. 31, 12:23 a.m. Police received calls that an intoxicated female was asking people for a ride at the corner of Salmar and Hamilton. When police arrived, they found the woman intoxicated and took her to a sobering station.

    Paintball Posse--Oct. 31, 7:19 p.m. Three minors were seen shooting a paintball gun on the ground of Rolling Hills Middle School. Police found paint on several areas of the school. One of the suspects was detained by a vice principal of the school. The other two were located by police. They were cited and released.

    Fore-- Nov. 1, 11:30 p.m. The suspect went to the victim's home and threatened to hit him in the head with a golf club which was believed be a 7 iron. The suspect said he thinks the victim is having an affair with the suspect's fiancée. The victim refused prosecution and was advised of the process to obtain a restraining order. A report was taken.
