Melodrama series is at the Gaslighter Theatre

All are welcome to cheer on the hero and boo the villain as the Gaslighter Theatre continues its melodrama series with Return of La Rue or How's a Bayou from Nov. 10 through Dec. 31. Performances begin at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, followed by the theater's well-known Vaudeville Review. The vaudeville show features an ensemble of various song, dance and comedy routines that showcase the versatility of the cast. Tickets for the Melodrama and Vaudeville Review are $15 for adults, $11 for children and $13 for senior citizens, age 60 or older.

Also at the Gaslighter is the Magique Bazaar, performed every third Thursday of the month. The interactive shows feature a different story line for each show, with illusions, juggling and balancing acts accompanied by performance, art-based song and dance. Tickets are $15 for adults and $11 for children age 12 or younger.
