Stanford Clinics
The annual Stanford Holiday Baseball Clinics return to The Farm this year with sessions scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend and during Christmas vacation.
Pitching clinics and baseball instruction for players ages 12-18 will be conducted Nov. 24-26, Dec. 18-20 and Dec. 27-29 at Stanford. The cost is $115 per session.

Quito Little League
The Quito Little League will hold signups for the 2001 season on Nov. 14 and 16, 6:30-9 p.m., and Nov. 18, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., in the teacher's workroom at Rolling Hills School in Saratoga.
Players ages 5-12 are eligible for the league's baseball and T-ball programs, and they must provide a birth certificate and proof of residency at the registration.

Quicksilver Volleyball
The Quicksilver Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for its age group teams (ranging from 12 to 18).
Tryouts will be held on Nov. 12 at San Jose City College at the following times: ages 17 and 18-- 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; ages 15 and 16-- 1-3:30 p.m.; and ages 12, 13 and 14-- 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Tryouts will be held on Nov. 19 at Oak Grove High School at the following times: ages 12, 13 and 14-- 9-11 a.m.; 15 and 16-- noon-2 p.m.; and ages 17 and 18-- 3-5 p.m.
Players should arrive early to sign forms and bring their own knee pads. The tryout fee is $20.

Jumpstart Volleyball
The Jumpstart Girls Volleyball Club will hold tryouts for beginner to advanced players on Nov. 11 at the Camden Lifetime Activity Center, 3369 Union Ave., for competition and development teams.
Tryouts will be held at 2-4 p.m. for players in the 12-and-under division; 4-6 p.m. for 14-and-under; and 6-8 p.m. for 16-and-under. The tryout fee is $25.
