Police Blotter
Fender Bender--Oct. 26, 10:06 a.m. A 7-year-old boy sustained minor injuries after he was involved in a car accident while his father was driving near the intersection of Hamilton Avenue and Third Street. Both were transported to a hospital.
Causing a Ruckus--Oct. 26, 2:43 p.m. Campbell police cited a 31-year-old Third Street resident for playing his music too loud. Police noted that it was the ninth time they've responded to complaints at that location in 18 months.
Unruly Juvenile--Oct. 28, 1:30 a.m. A 17-year-old juvenile from Campbell was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall after crashing a Halloween party on Marilyn Drive. The juvenile kicked out the rear passenger window of a police car after being transported to the Campbell Police Department.
Hit and Run--Oct. 28, 3:40 p.m. A 32-year-old Campbell man who lives near Curtner Avenue and McGlincey Lane was booked into jail for a hit-and-run accident after the victims of the accident gave the man's license plate number to police. The man was also wanted for a parole violation.
Ring Toss--Oct. 29, 5:30 p.m. A 36-year-old woman threw a ring at a 42-year-old man, striking him in the eye, during a domestic dispute on Grant Street.
Purse Snatcher--Oct. 28, 9:25 p.m. A 31-year-old San Jose woman reported that a black male in his early 20s stole her purse while she was loading groceries into her car on W. Campbell Ave.
Injured Driver--Oct. 31, 3:41 p.m. An unknown suspect crashed a car into a pillar on Dell Avenue and fled in a white Jeep. The airbag in the car deployed and blood was found in the car.
Mystery Shooter--Nov. 1, 1:40 p.m. An unknown suspect shot BB pellets at someone's car on Millich Drive or Valley Forge Way, breaking out one of the windows.
Mallet Attack--Nov. 1, 10:30 p.m. An Emory Avenue resident went to the Campbell Police Department to report that he'd been hit in the head with a rubber mallet by someone he knew.
Stolen Goods--Oct. 28, 5:30 a.m. Unknown suspects broke into several vehicles and a business on Creekside Drive, making off with computers and tools. An employee scared the suspects off, who fled in a stolen truck, which they later abandoned near the railroad tracks.
