    Police Blotter

    Garage Goodies--Nov. 15, 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. Two juveniles entered an open garage and stole a woman's purse from her vehicle. They brought the property home and hid it in their bedroom. Their father found the purse, located the woman's address and returned the property. Police took a report and are investigating any cross-references with San Jose Police Department cases.

    Hot Heads--Nov. 15, 11:30 a.m. Two people got into an argument over a heating pad. The argument became physical, and the victim came to police to report it. The case was referred to the DA.

    Anti-socialite--Nov. 14, 2:20 p.m. A woman, her friend and a child forced their way through a group of women who had congregated in front of a Bascom Avenue business. The suspect yelled at them and then pulled the victim's hair and scratched her face. The suspect then fled the scene and got on a bus. She was followed by a witness, who told police which bus the woman was riding. Police stopped the bus and contacted the suspect. She had an outstanding warrant and was booked.

    Several Problems--Nov. 13, 1:35 a.m. A bar check in a Pruneyard bar revealed an underage suspect consuming alcohol. He had a manufactured California driver's license that police said was a good copy. He also had an outstanding warrant, and police found some marijuana and a pipe on his person. He was booked.

    Parking Punches--Nov. 22, 10 p.m. Two people attempting to park in the same space got into an argument. The suspect struck the victim in the face, causing a laceration. The case was referred to the DA.

    Musical Chairs--Nov. 12, 2:30 p.m. A man and woman who live together got into an argument. The man accused the woman of cheating on him. He threw a chair on the ground and it bounced up and hit the victim in the leg, causing a very minor abrasion. The suspect fled before police arrived. The case was referred to the DA.

    West Side Story--Nov. 10, 12:16 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a fight involving at least 12 suspects. Police determined that between 10 and 15 suspects were fighting amongst themselves. One of the victims was transported to the hospital with a broken nose and several lacerations to his face. Another victim suffered face and body bruises.
