    Police Blotter

    Panhandler--Nov. 19, 3:49 p.m. A grocery on Bascom called police after they received complaints regarding an aggressive solicitor in front of the store. When police questioned the man, he lied about his identity. Once he was identified, police discovered that he had three warrants for his arrest, totaling $3,200. He was booked.

    Party Pooper--Nov. 18, 10:33 p.m. A San Jose man was intoxicated and causing a disturbance in a Pruneyard restaurant bar. When the bartender interrupted him, the man became angry. He went into the men's bathroom and pulled the toilet plumbing off the wall. He then fled the restaurant and was caught by police several blocks away. The restaurant had to be shut down for several hours due to the water damage.

    Pilfering Patron--Nov. 19, 2:52 a.m. Employees in a Winchester Boulevard drugstore spotted a man concealing merchandise. The man left the store without paying and was subsequently arrested by police. He was booked.

    Punching Patrons--Nov. 18, 7 p.m. Several females in a Hamilton Avenue bar got into a fight. Police were called by a bar employee. When police arrived, everyone who had been involved in the fight was contacted. No one desired any prosecution. One of the suspects had a warrant for a previous DUI.

    Pushy--Nov. 17, 6:40 p.m. A husband and wife got into an verbal argument that turned physical. The man grabbed his wife by the neck and pushed her into the door. He was gone when police arrived. The case was referred to the DA.

    Pugnacious --Nov. 17, 9:20 p.m. A man and his girlfriend got into a physical altercation in a Winchester Boulevard parking lot. The case was referred to the DA.

    It's My Party--Nov. 11, 11:10 a.m. A woman who has lived with her boyfriend for five years had an emotional outbreak. She said it was her birthday and things were not going well. She grabbed and clawed her boyfriend's shirt and pushed him. There were no visible injuries. The case was referred to the DA.
