Malicious Mischief—Jan. 4, 11 p.m. An unknown person threw a 2-foot-long section of concrete through the window of a business on E. Sunnyoaks Avenue, damaging a car parked inside.
Public Drunkenness—Jan. 4, 2:55 a.m. A 44-year-old man was trying to enter a car near Hamilton and Salmar avenues. The car didn't belong to him. He was booked for being intoxicated.
Burglary—Jan. 3, 1 a.m.7 a.m. An unknown person smashed the rear driver's-side window of a green Honda Civic on Silacci Drive. Nothing was stolen.
Vandalism—Jan. 3, 5 p.m.11 p.m. An unknown person drove a vehicle into John D. Morgan Park, leaving deep cuts in the ground and damaging the turf.
Drunken Driving—Jan. 2, 10:15 p.m. A 40-year-old man was stopped for a vehicle-code violation near Bascom Avenue and Dry Creek Road. He was intoxicated and was arrested.
Vandalism—Jan. 2, 11:50 a.m. An unknown man intentionally pushed a shopping cart into a glass case at a doughnut shop on N. San Tomas Aquino Road.
Drunken Driving—Jan. 2, 10:25 p.m. A man failed to negotiate a turn at Hamilton and Bascom avenues. He crashed his car up and over a median, causing damage. He was caught fleeing the scene and authorities determined him to be drunk. He was arrested.
Burglary—Jan. 1. A man living on Railway Avenue came home from vacation to find that the window in his home had been forced and his car keys and car were stolen. The incident occurred between Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.
Drunk in Public—Jan. 1, 8:10 a.m. A man was arrested for attempting to open the front door of a home on Ecker Court. He was not the resident and was booked for being drunk in public. There also had been a bench warrant issued for the man.
Grand Theft—Dec. 31, 2:18 p.m. An unknown person entered a department store on Hamilton Avenue, went directly to a merchandise display and took 14 pairs of jeans. He escaped in a waiting car.
Burglary—Dec. 30. An unknown person broke the lock on a cargo truck on W. Hacienda Avenue and stole tools.
