The fifth annual Del Mar girls field hockey camp for beginning players in grades 5­9 will be held June 21­24 on the Del Mar High School campus. Garcia camp

The Jeff Garcia Football Camp for Kids will be held June 15­16, 7:30 a.m.­1 p.m. each day, at Valley Christian High School, 100 Skyway Drive in San Jose. The camp is open to boys and girls ages 9­13.

The camp fee is $150 and includes a camp T-shirt. The camp will be non-contact and full controlled, and will cover basic skills and fundamentals. Former San Francisco 49er and current Cleveland Browns quarterback Jeff Garcia will lead the camp.

Del Mar camp

The Del Mar Youth Football Camp for players ages 9­13 will be held June 14­18, 9 a.m.­4 p.m. each day, at Del Mar High School, 1224 Del Mar Ave. in San Jose.

The non-contact camp will stress the fundamentals of football. The cost is $150 per player ($125 each for two or more campers from the same family) and includes the camp, a T-shirt, lunch and end of camp awards.

Youth football

The Campbell­Saratoga Wolverines youth football organization is holding sign-ups for football players ages 8­14 and cheerleaders ages 6­14 on June 12, 10 a.m.­2:30 p.m., at the Campbell Community Center, 1 W. Campbell Ave. Participants must provide birth certificate and proof of a physical.
