Sweet Surrender: Founding Home Church pastor Mike Kiely moved from Michigan to California in the late 1970s to begin a ministry. In 1981 he moved his ministry, Calvary Chapel, to its present location on Winchester Boulevard and renamed it the Home Church.

Save 7th period Hazelwood farewell New brew
A grass-roots effort is afoot to save Campbell Union High School District's extracurricular classes.  More Duane Beaubien, who opened Hazelwood Elementary as its first principal in 1963, says the most interesting part of the school's lore is how the land upon which it was built was acquired.  More Bob Stoddard, whose popular signature beers were brewed and served at a now-closed downtown microbrewery, is returning to his old haunt at the corner of Campbell Avenue and Second Street.  More
