Roosevelt's Redwood: Lilyann Brannon went digging in a San Jose dump to save the stump of the felled redwood tree that was originally planted in 1903 by President Theodore Roosevelt. The redwood tree at the corner of the Campbell Community Center is from a saved burl from the 1903 tree.
