Smooth Strokes: The Campbell Wavemakers Swim Team, which trains at the Campbell Community Center, has risen from near the bottom in its region to be ranked in the top 10. The team's coach, Valerie Cooper, established the team in 1995. One of the swimmers, Kelley Oreglia, commits to practicing several hours each day at the Campbell pool.
