Drunk Driving—Aug. 14, 11:57 p.m. A 21-year-old woman was arrested at Winchester Boulevard and Payne Avenue for driving under the influence after police stopped her for a traffic violation.
Assault—Aug. 13, 5:54 p.m. A 30-year-old woman was arrested on W. Hamilton Avenue for biting and scratching her husband during an argument.
Protective Order Violation—Aug. 13, 1:58 p.m. A 25-year-old man was arrested after threatening his female roommate at their residence on Sobrato Drive. The roommate has a restraining order against him. The man was under the influence of drugs, and was in possession of a methamphetamine pipe and stolen checks.
Protective Order Violation—Aug. 12, 6:30 p.m. A 29-year-old man was arrested near Burnham Court for arguing with his girlfriend. During the verbal fight, he left the apartment but returned soon afterward. When she refused him entry, he kicked down the door to continue the argument. Police contacted him while he was leaving the area on his bicycle.
Burglary—Aug. 12, 1:15 p.m. An unknown person entered an unlocked 1985 Toyota Corolla on Victor Avenue and stole the stereo.
Burglary—Aug. 12, 10:15 a.m. An unknown person broke the driver's side window of a 1999 Honda Civic parked on W. Hamilton Avenue and stole the stereo.
Attempted Homicide—Aug. 11, 5:02 p.m. A 33-year-old man was arrested for stabbing another individual living in an apartment on W. Hamilton Avenue. The injured man is in critical but stable condition.
Parole Violation—Aug. 9, 7:28 p.m. A 31-year-old transient man was arrested in a large encampment near E. Campbell Avenue and Highway 17 after police learned that he may have been involved with a spate of car burglaries in the Pruneyard Shopping Center.
