Domestic Violence—Oct. 31, 8:46 p.m. A 27-year-old man was reported to have gone to the home of his girlfriend on S. Winchester Boulevard and verbally abused her. An emergency protective restraining order had been issued. When authorities arrived, it was also determined that she had been battered the week before. The man was arrested.

Vandalism—Oct. 31. An unknown person sprayed silver graffiti on a fence at Winchester Boulevard and Friar Avenue. The fence had "DP" and "fame" written on it. The incident occurred sometime between Oct.29 and Oct. 31.

Drunken Driving—Oct. 30, 10:43 p.m. A 45-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation at the intersection of Campbell and Harrison avenues. After authorities stopped him, they determined he was intoxicated.

Burglary—Oct. 29, 11 p.m.­11 a.m. A series of auto burglaries occurred on Union Avenue. The windows were broken in several vehicles and in one car the convertible top was cut. Various items were stolen from the vehicles, including a radio/CD player, Apple iPod, and a laptop computer.

Robbery and Assault—Oct. 29, 10:05 p.m. A man was walking to his car on White Oaks Road when an unknown person attempted to steal his wallet. The man fought back and was able to escape his attacker without the loss of his wallet. The suspect is described as a African American man in his 30s, with short black hair. The attacker was driving a 1990s gold Chevy/GMC Tahoe-style SUV.

Burglary—Oct. 29, 7:30 a.m.­6:30 p.m. An unknown person entered a home on Union Avenue through an unlocked front door. A laptop and digital camera were stolen from the home.

Check Fraud—Oct. 29, 11 a.m.­2 p.m. An unknown person stole an individual's company check from an office on S. Winchester Boulevard. The unknown person cashed the check at a home-improvement store on Hamilton Avenue.

Vandalism—Oct. 28. An unknown person damaged a condenser unit on a building on Orchard City Drive. The person also removed wiring and electrical piping from the side of the building.

Theft—Oct. 26, 9:15 p.m. An unknown person took a woman's purse from her car on W. Hamilton Avenue when the woman went inside to pay for her gas.
