Police Report
Theft--Jan. 8, 10:09 p.m. A 54-year-old man stole food from a market on Bascom Avenue.
Robbery--Jan. 8, 9:17 p.m. An individual entered a store on Bascom Avenue, bought a soda and demanded money from the register.
Burglary--Jan. 8. An unknown person removed an exhaust system from a 1997 BMW that was in a service shop on Camden Avenue.
Attempted Burglary--Jan. 7, 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m. An individual removed the rear screen from the window of a residence on Fairlands Avenue. The person attempted to throw a brick through the rear sliding door to gain entry.
Burglary--Jan. 7. An unknown person removed the back window of a van parked at the intersection of Hedegard and Carlyn avenues and stole numerous power tools from the vehicle.
Assault--Jan. 6, 10:01 p.m. A 19-year-old male on N. San Tomas Aquino Drive called the police to report that his mother's new boyfriend kicked him in the knee because he was arguing with her.
Assault--Jan. 6, 7:39 p.m. Two individuals living on Sunnyoaks Avenue got into an argument, which turned physical.
Court Order Violation--Jan. 6, 9:30 a.m. A 37-year-old man was ordered to stay away from a woman. The man cut the woman off in traffic near Hamilton and Dunster avenues and followed her to Rosemary School and Winchester Boulevard. He got out of his car and approached the woman. He threatened to break her car window if she did not talk to him. The man fled tot his home, where he was subsequently arrested for violating the court order.
