Police Report

Shoplifting--Jan. 13, 7:30 p.m. A 45-year-old woman stole merchandise from a department store on Hamilton Avenue. She was caught by security.

Drunk Driving--Jan. 12, 10:56 p.m. A 28-year-old man was stopped for a traffic violation on E. Hamilton Avenue. His driver's license had been suspended, and he was intoxicated.

Theft--Jan. 12, 5:45 p.m. A man left his wallet at the cash register in a store on N. San Tomas Aquino Road. He returned 15 minutes later, but the wallet was gone.

Burglary--Jan. 12, 11 a.m.-midnight. An unknown person smashed the window of a car parked at E. Hacienda and Dell avenues. The person stole a purse left inside the car.

Traffic Violation--Jan. 12, 2:45 a.m. Police stopped a 27-year-old man because he was driving the wrong way on Civic Center Drive. He was intoxicated.

Public Disturbance--Jan. 12, 12:45 a.m. Two men, ages 34 and 28, were fighting on the light rail Winchester station platform. Police determined both men were intoxicated.

Theft--Jan. 11. An unknown person entered a business on N. Central Avenue and sometime over a three-week period stole eight flat-panel computer screens.
