Thomas 'Thomshoe' Hoke Williams

Campbell resident Thomas "Thomshoe" Hoke Williams died of heart failure on Dec. 31. He was 60.

Williams was born in Detroit, Mich., and was a shoe salesman. His first job was with Thom MCann in Detroit. He worked his way west to Arizona and Nevada, finally settling in California.

He was a big sports fan and remained loyal to all the Detroit teams, including the Lions, Tigers, Pistons and Redwings.

He will be remembered for his generosity.

Williams is survived by his sisters, Mary Smith of Redding and Sharon Davidson of Campbell, his brother Jim Moffatt of Cucamonga, his daughter Kimberly Irvine, her husband, Scott, and his son, Thomas Jr. and his wife, Katie, and his grandchildren, Dillon and Noah Williams and Collin Irvine.

Services have been held.

 

 

Jacqueline L. Clark

Former Campbell resident Jacqueline Clark died unexpectedly on Jan. 15. She was 74.

Jacqueline and her husband of 57 years, Ronald Clark, had moved to Oroville.

She was born in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Willard and Lucille Flanders.

She is survived by her brother, Jerry Flanders, and her children Debra, Dian, David, Teresa, Patrick and Jeffrey, plus numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
