Watches by Campbell-based pop artist Sonya Paz will be included in the Sundance Film Festival's gift goody bag.

The bags are given to VIPs and celebrities who attend this annual event held in Park City, Utah.

Paz is known for her exuberant use of color and playful forms. Her artwork has been featured in posters for the Palo Alto and Sausalito art festivals, Livermore Wine Valley Harvest Festival, San Ramon Art and Wine Festival and the Silicon Valley Half Marathon.

Blood drive
set for Feb. 29
at Blendz

Blendz in downtown Campbell is hosting a blood drive on Feb. 29. The bloodmobile will be parked curbside outside the business, located at 267 E. Campbell Ave.

Donors must be in good health, weigh at least 110 pounds and have not traveled to a malaria-ridden area within the past 12 months.

All donors will receive a free gift and a discount on their meal.
