City receives
museum and
theater donations

The Campbell City Council accepted donations for the Heritage Theatre and the Campbell Historical Museum at its Feb. 5 meeting.

Longtime Campbell resident Pete Yerkovich donated $500 and Mary E. Nolan donated $1,000 to the museum.

Yerkovich has given more than $7,300 to the museum since 1991, including funds to restore the museum's 1921 Rauch & Lang electric vehicle. Nolan has volunteered with the museum since 2000. The donations will be placed in a trust fund to cover expenses.

The Kieve Foundation donated $1,000 to the Heritage Theatre. The funds will be used to support operations and enable the theater to be less reliant on city funding.
