Center holds teen program
The Marianist center will hold a program called Names Hurt Jan. 10, 7-9 p.m., to explore the problem of suicide among gay and lesbian teenagers. The program is for parents, teachers, pastoral ministers and any concerned adult. The presenter, Kevin P. Dincher, has more than 20 years of experience in education, counseling, mental health, crisis intervention and suicide prevention, HIV/AIDS, and spirituality and retreat direction.

Flint Center presents the hit musical 'Cabaret' Jan. 18
The hit musical Cabaret, winner of four 1998 Tony Awards including Best Revival, will come to Cupertino's Flint Center for five performances from Jan. 18 to 20. Cabaret tells the story of an English woman's romance with an American writer set against the background of a crumbling Germany at the start of the Third Reich. Music and lyrics were written by John Kander and Fred Ebb.

Foundation sponsors bone density testing Jan. 11, 30
The Foundation for Osteoporosis Research and Education sponsors a bone density testing on Jan. 11 and Jan. 30. The test is a non-invasive scan of the forearm, which takes seven minutes and is painless and safe.
No appointment is necessary but it is done on a first come, first served basis. The test has a $30 fee and will be at Longs Drugs stores. On Jan. 11, 2-8 p.m. The location will be 19750 Stevens Creek Blvd. On Jan. 30, 2-8 p.m. the location will be 10455 S. De Anza Blvd. For more information, call 510.832.2663.
