    Walkable community not forthcoming

Again DeCinzo has "hit the nail on the head." By approving the construction of 64 townhouse units off Imperial Avenue, this council decision will at a minimum, add 64-plus cars, which will flow off of Imperial onto Stevens Creek Boulevard, right near the point where it currently jams up at the 85, 280 and Stevens Creek off/on ramps.

    Which came first?

Jon Hoornstra, in his article about Stevens Canyon Road, wrote--"The trucks were there first--they've worked that quarry for more than 50 years." Sorry Jon, but the bicycles were there another 50 or 70 years before that. The history of touring and racing cyclists in the Valley of Hearts' Delight is long and glorious.
