The Cupertino CourierSheriff's ReportThe following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation. Commercial Burglary--Dec. 9, 3 p.m. 1010 N. Wolfe Road. A security guard saw the suspect conceal a pair of blue jeans and a pair of sunglasses in a Sears bag. He said the suspect then walked out of the store without attempting to pay for the concealed items. The guard stopped the suspect outside of the store and identified himself as a loss-prevention security officer. He then attempted to make a citizen's arrest; the suspect resisted and was extremely combative. The sheriff's office was notified. Burglary--Dec. 8, 4:30 p.m. 10123 N. Wolfe Road. A deputy responded to a theft at the Famous Footwear store in Vallco Fashion Park. Upon arrival at the store, a witness pointed out the two female suspects. Both women had property from the store inside their bags. Further investigation revealed that the suspects had clothing from four other Vallco stores inside their bags. Witnesses from the stores identified the property as being from their stores and said it had been stolen. Vandalism--Dec. 8, 6:40 p.m. 19530 Stevens Creek Blvd. Suspects became angry at the victim over a traffic-related incident 10 minutes earlier. The victim saw the suspects getting gas at the same gas station and started to write down their vehicle's license plate number. The suspects then jumped into their car, hit the victim's car and then tried to run her down as they left. Two bystanders witnessed the scene.
