    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Residential Burglary-- Dec. 25, 9:15 p.m., 1100 block of Stelling Road. An unknown suspect entered the residence through an unlocked bathroom window and took jewelry and a passport.

    Residential Burglary-- Dec. 23, 9:10 p.m., 20300 block of Bollinger Road. The suspect broke a window and entered the house, where he took $1,300 in cash and some jewelry.

    Battery, Brandishing a Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Switchblade Knife--Dec. 22, 5:40 p.m. 10100 block of N. Wolfe Road. Two suspects approached a man and accused him of being a gang member. The man denied this, but one of the suspects struck him in the head. The other suspect took out a switchblade and threatened the man with it.

    Brandishing a Replica Firearm-- Dec. 22, 4 p.m., Intersection of E. Estates Drive and La Mar Drive. A post office employee was on his route when a car pulled alongside him, pointed and fired a toy gun at him.

     

    Auto Burglary-- Dec. 22, 4:30 a.m., 20800 block of Homestead Road. Unknown suspect(s) broke into a car and stole $3,000 worth of stereo and wheel/hubcap equipment.

     

    Burglary--Dec. 21, 9:56 p.m., 7600 block of Shadowhill Lane. The suspect broke a window to enter the house. The victims believe only jewelry was taken.
