    Sheriff's Report

    The following incidents were culled from reports filed by deputies at the sheriff's Westside Substation.

    Battery Upon Spouse--Dec. 30, 7:15 p.m., 10100 block of Wolfe Road. A couple argued about what to feed their child. The husband wished to leave the restaurant and dragged his wife by the wrist to their car. She was not hurt.

    Residential Burlgary--Dec. 30, 9:15 a.m., 10300 block of Paradise Drive. Unknown suspect(s) broke a window and took several items of women's jewelry. The pieces are valued at $6,250.

    Driving Under the Influence of a Stimulant--Dec. 30, 10 p.m., intersection of Edward Way and Bubb Road. The driver of the car had no brake lights, and admitted to possession of nitrous oxide for consumption. He was booked for driving under the influence.

    Stolen Vehicle--Dec. 30, 10:10 p.m., 19100 block of Stevens Creek Boulevard.

    Petty Theft, Possession of a Switchblade--Dec. 29, 8 p.m. Two minors stole two T-shirts and were detained by a security guard. While patting the two down, the guard found a switchblade in one of their pockets. The pair was released into the custody of their father.

    Vehicle Theft--Dec. 28, 9:40 a.m., 10800 block of Wunderlich Drive. The victim let a family friend, test-drive her car, a 1978 Pontiac Grand Prix for sale. He drove off in it, but two weeks later still has not returned with the car.
