    Riverdance returns to Flint

    The original international phenomenon, Riverdance-The Show, will return to the Flint Center for eight performances from Feb. 12 to Feb. 17. Riverdance is a celebration of Irish music, song and dance that focuses on the evolution of Irish dance, as well as its similarities with, and influences on, other cultures.

    Home Depot yard workshops

    Home Depot stores located throughout the area will offer free home-improvement clinics every Saturday and Sunday in February. Experienced Home Depot associates will cover step-by-step instructions related to each project. The clinics are: "How to Plant Bulbs and Add Color to Your Garden" at 9 a.m.; "How to Measure and Install Window Treatments" at 10 a.m.; "Install Ceramic Tile" at 11 a.m.; "How to Design and Install Closet Organization" at 1 p.m.; and "Understanding water Filters/Reverse Osmosis" at 2 p.m.

    Tribute to Princess Diana

    The Cupertino library will hold a tribute to Princess Diana on Feb. 6 at 7:30 p.m. Susan Maxwell Skinner, who worked in Princess Diana's press corps for eight years, will share insights into the world of royalty in a multimedia presentation.
